Veronique LaShell MacRae, Founder and Artistic Director of Act Trinity, is
a graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina
with a  B.A. in Theatre.  Although born in New York, she calls North
Carolina home.  Her most recent credits include Co-Director and Playwright
of Act Trinity’s, Walking Again, Wanda in the NCCU production of
Crowns, Sue Ellen in the Independent Film, Spreading the News by Melodic
Pictures of Los Angeles and background work in Season 15 of Law and
Order. To date, Ms. MacRae has contributed her performance, production
and technical skills to over fifty theatrical productions, several independent
films, television work, radio voice overs, promotional modeling and within
classrooms in the Durham Public School systems of North Carolina; as well
as volunteer work with the Harlem Opera Theater.  She is currently the
leader of the Voices of the Wall Drama Ministry at Nehemiah Christian
Center COGIC in Durham, North Carolina. This summer, Veronique will
contribute her production and performance skills on an upcoming feature film
based in New York City as well as begin workshop of her one-woman show
entitled, Self-Portrait of a Sinner.   She is thankful for the gifts that God has
placed in her to minister to the needs of the people through the arts.  
Veronique will begin Duke Divinity School in the fall of 2008 to pursue a   
M.DIV in order to continue her work in creating theatre that speaks life and
glorifies God.
